Milano Calibro 9 looks awesome. Corman fave Frank Wolff, Barbara Bouchet AND Lionel Stander, it doesn’t get much better.

I’ve talked about on here before, but the opening of Samuel Fuller’s The Naked Kiss is hard to whack.

Funny you should mention the “What’s a fuckin’ mook?” line, as I was about to call you one for not mentioning my favourite part of the film, the pool room scene. It has one of my favourite throw-away lines “Girls? you call those skanks girls?” Genius, the scene then segues into a cracking brawl to boot! Superb…

Good call on the opening scene, though. It’s brilliant and perfectly sets the scene for the rest of the film to follow. One of my own personal favourite opening scenes is from an Italian “noir” called MILANO CALIBRO 9, directed by the late, great Fernando Di Leo. You can check it out here:
