What a front cover! For that reason alone, Andy Nelson’s 1982 funky electronic disco masterpiece is our SOTD. Not really, the song turns out to be pretty good as well.

A cult favourite, the track was recently lauded by ‘nu disco’ legends the Idjut Boys, due to it’s fabulous ‘camp electronic’ vibe.

Using the similar guitar chord progression as Alan Parsons’ track Voyager (taken from his brilliant 1978 album Pyramid), the song is able to add loads of crazy ideas, ranging from a saucy lady speaking French to an appearance from a choir! It really does have it all. Good ol’ Ange, eh?
