Greg Broussard is one of the most influential electronic producers of the past few decades. Under his Egyptian Lover guise, Broussard’s fusion of minimal electro/hip hop beats and penchant for chunky jewellery and cellular phones influenced the likes of Dr. Dre, I-F, Juan Atkins and even trendy young gunslingers like the Friendly Fires have been jumping aboard the Egyptian Lover Express.

Taken from his 1984 album On The Nile, ‘Computer Love (Sweet Dreams)’ is a brooding piece of electronica and is a perfect Magic Waves track (Broussard’s mate, the legendary Arabian Prince, is performing at this year’s festival).
