Classic disco ‘joint’ (sorry for using that word but there’s no other way of describing it. Trust me there isn’t) from 1976 by Sue Records founder Juggy Murray Jones. A Paradise Garage favourite with its magical blend of disco, funk, jazz and quirky electronic sound effects. It’s a wonderful song which perfectly captures disco hedonism and freedom(especially the delirious saxophone bit towards the end) .
Recently re-edited by general good guy Raheen, this is your chance to listen to the original in all its glittering glory. It’s just the thing for another mundane Monday. God Bless America!

around 1min22ish, the melody does something very familiar but I can’t put my finger on it!
This one’s a gem… they don’t make ‘em like this anymore, do they?
They sure don’t! I think the bit you are referring to is a snippet of the American national anthem – The Star-Spangled Banner, I think! x
