We’d normally have a Morricone thing up here on a Monday, but as both Alan and I have been super busy working on top secret Cold War-type projects, how about a cheeky and campy cover of the Maestro’s most finest and memorable composition? Go on! You know you wanna!

The b-side to Gaz’s 1979 smash ‘Sing Sing’, this version of ‘The Good, The Bad And The Ugly’ is disco dynamite! Flirting on the right side of cheesy, it’s a light-hearted interpretation that is admittedly not as good as the Black Light Orchestra’s Once Upon a Time LP. Released on Salsoul it features some of the flamboyant sounds associated with the label, from the swirling strings to a killer percussion breakdown it’s more ‘The Good’ than ‘The Bad’ (ahem).  I think I’ll leave it there…
