Little Tape of Horrors, Part One – Gravest Hits!

October 28, 2011 12:07 pm / by / 3 comments

Hello boys and ghouls! Welcome to the first grisly installment of Little Tape of Horrors! Since its Days Are Numbers’ favourite time of the year, I thought it would it be devilish to put together a couple of special Halloween playlists for you to enjoy.

Part one is Gravest Hits, a dastardly mix of 50s death hits, howlin’ rockabilly, sinister soul and some (black) magic courtesy of the mercurial Joe Meek.

If these monster favourites don’t kick open the crypt or get the werewolves dancing, then wait for part two! LOL!

    Great mix!

I love ‘Johnny Remember Me’ and I’ve never heard that Hitchcock stuff before. Is that from his album that Kanye produced?

    Can’t wait for part two.

  2. Alan says:

I see you’ve used the poster for Uncle Roger’s The Undead, as well.

    Love you, Corman.

    They are dancing!
Bring on all hallows eve and part two of the Little Tape of Horrors.
‘Once You Understand’ now that was horrific.. Hand over mouth…. In shock..
Thanks for the Halloween ending I needed that!
